Founder

StartupMalaysia was founded by Dash Dhakshinamoorthy, a serial entrepreneur, entrepreneur evangelist and an angel investor.

Dash has been in the startup ecosystem since the early 2000 and has been a fire starter behind various initiatives and programs in the startup ecosystem in Malaysia.

Dash was one of the Malaysians to have been invited by President Barack Obama for the Inaugural Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship in 2010 and was awarded the initial IVLP fellowship in entrepreneurship by the US State Department.

Dash holds an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School and a Post Graduate in Entrepreneurship from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
